Editing of clipped text
It's sensible to allow us to edit the text that we have clipped: to add more from the clipped page, for example.

Integrate with Google Reader
...so that our clogs may be automatically added to Google Reader too.
(Thanks already for twitter and facebook integration!)

Real-time update in Public Timeline and News Feed or with no need to reload the full page (AJAX?)
For instance as Twitter does in its homepage, while Amplify needs to reload the full page everytime I click on the "X new posts" link.

How Do I Amplify from multiple pages, like on clipmarks?
Basically I want to be able to to do things like post videos/images etc from multiple web pages like I can on clipmarks. this would be useful for a few reasons but the main one would be to make comparisons between then and to comment on those differences.
If this is possible how do I do it?
If not Can we have it? Pretty Please with a cookie on top :-)

Capture PDF documents
I often have PDF documents that I want to clog (refer to). If they dont have an introductory web page, (as some government departments just post PDF online), I cant clog them. An option to put some text and a link to the PDF, as a clog would be appreciated.

ping.fm
A neat way to «amplify» the reach in social network is to use ping.fm, rather than implementing the API of each and every social networks/services on the planet. If I could automatically post to ping.fm in my amplify setting, I then control through ping where my status messages goes. Thanks for thinking about it !

Support Username/Password Protected Feeds for Private Clogs
So FeedDemon and other news readers that support authenticated feeds can access private clogs, if authorised.

make it possible to repost to my (self hosted WordPress) blog.
Like I can with e.g. Posterous, I would like to be able to repost to my blog.

Delayed/Enqueued amplifications
Delayed amplification would allow to displace the posting in time, so insomnia is not so obvious ;)
About enqueued amplifications, sometimes we may spend a bunch of time reading and therefore amplifying whatever we find in the web. Maybe we devote one day to read everything (like Sunday, a good day for newspapers and news in general), but having many amplifications made on Sunday may not be good, setting a range in time to post queued amplifications (for example from 12pm to 1pm) and the frequency (one a hour, one a day, one a week...) could help to have a… more

Import heading from a clipped website
Isn't it natural that I want to name my clipping the same as the heading of an article I'm clipping? This copy and paste is killing. Would be nice to have a quick amplify bookmarklet: select content -> click amplify -> done.

Post to other networks after already posted on Amplify
Today I was posting a clip from an article onto Amplify and I selected the option to auto-post to my Posterous account. Unfortunately, for some reason it never made it to Posterous. It would be nice if after posting to Amplify we had the option of posting to any of the networks we've got set up (not just Twitter & Facebook). I wanted to post that Amp to my blog (which is hooked to Posterous) and now I can't really do anything unless I try to re-Amplify it and cause a duplicate in my Amplify feed.
Thanks guys!

how about being able to share clips you like on clipmarks through amplify
I think clipmarks would be enhanced if we could share clips through amplify to our twitter and facebook etc
would make sense and would attract the nice new people on amplify to the tried and trusted clipmarks community
sort of a v
bridge between the two networks

make it easier for invited readers
I just invited myself (as a test case) to my private clog. I clicked on the link that arrived by email.
The Registration screen was confusing - it said I could use my Twitter account, yet it made me create an Amplify account, including a password, why?
Then it told me to download the Amplify widget and start clipping - but I want to be a reader - I dont want to clip.
Then I was landed at a page which said "You havent clipped anything yet". I was confused. I thought I was invited to register, so I could… more

Show my custom header on my individual clip pages - which already has your identity strip at top.
When links are generated for a clip (or if you click my clip title) you end up on the individual clip page, where instead of my custom header, you have a huge Amplify header.
Besides, you already have Blogger-like identity strip at the top AND the big "Spark Conversation" banner at the bottom. There's no need to push off the user's header. The cooler it looks to people that come, the more likely they will want their own. Too much advertising space at the top is a turn off because it looks tacky - which is one of the reasons… more
